I get the error code 800B0100 when SP1 install fails, and troubleshooting the issue led me to a Windows Update Rediness Tool download that is attempting to install Windows Hotfix KB947821, yet again to no avail. The hotfix will not install. I am at a complete loss here other than reformating and reinstalling Win7 from scratch which is a last resort. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
